DJ Droid - Friday Jun 9th, 2006

The new show coming out today, the 9th of June, is crazy. Among the highlights are the new Method Man single, Things They Say, and a new Busta joint featuring Nas off the album Big Bang.

Also the Jay-Z/Cam'ron beef continues. Jay-z has finally responded to Cam on the Rick Ross "Hustlin'" Remix, also featuring Young Jeezy. I think the verse could have been better (stop talking about your linen shorts Jay), but its better then silence.
Cam responds with a verse of his own and manages to get in a few good jabs. One valid point he brings up is that Jay-z seems to have little to do with his Def-Jam roster. All the notable East Coast emcees like Ghostface, Redman, Beans, and Tru-life have been ignored for Southern or Midwest artists. Instead Jay spends his time with the ATL's Young Jeezy, or remixes with Kanye and Rick Ross. Maybe Jay is taking all this 'New York is dead' talk to heart...

Listener Props
